Lucito,
a charming little village in the Province of Campobasso, 400m
above sea level. The town is situated in a valley rich with
olive trees that extends all the way down to the banks of the
River Biferno. These trees which fill up the countryside surrounding
Lucito all belong to Antonio Pettinicchi, heir to the antique
tradition of olive cultivation and the production of the oldest
and most valuable condiment in the Mediterranean diet.
